Welcome to Teaching From the Tractor!

It’s an honor to have you here and I’m so excited to introduce you to our family/farm crew:

Our farm consists of just under 2,000 acres.  The crops we grow include: alfalfa seed, barley, wheat, clover seed, sugar beets, corn, sunflowers, and dry edible beans (pinto, great northern, black & kidney).  All of our crops our irrigated as we only get 6? of precipitation annually.

My husband and I both grew up on a farm, and we are so blessed our boys have that same opportunity. I invite you to follow us on our farming, homeschooling, Christian adventure we call life.

Please send me any questions or comments you may have.  There is so much to know about farming and I definitely do not know everything. However,  I will try my hardest to find out something for you if I do not know the answer.  We ourselves learn new things every year, and that is one thing I love about farming!
